The votes have been cast, the independent accounting firm of Fletch & Fletch has been consulted, and the time has come for the LIONs to be handed out.

Our fourth award for presentation is for Best Supporting Actor. There were a total of 54 votes, and as you might expect, it was a blowout. The runner-up, with four votes…Robert Downey, Jr. for Tropic Thunder.

    And the no-doubt-about-it winner,...

The 2nd Annual LION Awards…Best Supporting Actress

The votes have been cast, the independent accounting firm of Fletch & Fletch has been consulted, and the time has come for the LIONs to be handed out.

Just yesterday, I told you that today’s award would be for Best Supporting Actor. For reasons I’m not at liberty to disclose at this time, I’m going to have to call an audible.

Our third award for presentation is for Best Supporting Actress. There...

    Poll results; new poll

Apparently, the distribution company behind Synecdoche, New York has failed miserable. Nearly half the LAMBs that voted in our last poll were even given the chance to see the film. Either LAMBs instinctively live in super-rural areas (fitting, I ‘spose) or the film never made it into more than 50 theaters at a time. Whatever the case, most who had heard of it, and seen it, loved it. It ought to be an interesting case for the...

    Invasion of the Lambs #10

Many sites have screencap quizzes, but how many are invaded by LAMBs? Every so often, I’ll post a screen shot, only the actors heads will be “lambed out” – all you gotta do is name the film and the bodies that the lambs have overtaken.

It’s a holiday week (in America). What a perfect time for a Lamb Invasion!

WaywardJam managed to double his point total last time we played, but I...

    Poll results; new poll

A month ago, I asked you to come down on the age limit question for new LAMBs. 62% voted for an age limit of some sort, with 28% saying no and the remainder somewhere in the middle.

So, now that we’ve settled that there will be one, I wanted to have a slight re-vote to determine the proper age. The “Yes” votes previously were spread amongst three different times, and there was a winner, but I’d like to give...

Has it really been over a month since I did one of these? Wow. My bad. I love this game, but my MS Paint skillz aren’t all that superb (can you tell?). Anyway,...

    Important new poll
I don’t mean to be calling anyone out, but after a discussion in the comments section of this post, I’ve put up a new poll, and I think it’s an important one.

For the almost-year that the LAMB has been around, I’ve tried to be as open as possible to new sites wishing to join. We all know that the definition of a “blog” is hazy to begin with, so that just adds to the confusion, but I’ve tried not to...

    Poll results; new poll

It’s been awhile since I put up a new poll. Here’s the results from the last. It looks as though more of you need to be browsing the other LAMBs; as someone who browses lots and lots, I can tell you that there are some damn good ones out there.

The new poll wants to know how much of your life is spent movie blogging? Take your time answering……
