LAMB Casting: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

This is Andrew from Encore’s World of Film & TV with another entry of LAMB Casting.
This week we’re going back in time…but like the entries for Doubt and A Streetcar Named Desire, you’ve got a little simple – only four characters to cast. Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? was a massive success in 1966, nominated for every single category at the time (save for Original Song). As far as acting goes, it features some of the best, so you’re probably thinking why recast it? Well, that question’s moot, but it’s been over forty years and surely we’ve got some excellent actors right now who could do some brilliance on this classic piece of cinema (and literature). Be inventive, be original…who would you cast the older sparring couple? Who can you imagine as the younger naive one? Recreate it, and send your ideas to me HERE with the words “Virginia Woolf” in the title. Looking forward to your ideas.
Get casting, or else Martha might think you’re a flop…
