What is the main focus of your site?
There are four main focuses- infographics, lists, humor, and education (I try to be informative; occasionally, that encompasses reviews but I like to mix in introductions to various directors or film movements). In short, there’s a little bit of a lot of things. Foreign, classic, and cult films get extra love on my site.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
My major goal is entertainment for film (and occasionally TV) goers. I’ll confess to getting a huge thrill out of large quantities of traffic. Mostly, I enjoy having a group of visitors who allow me to talk about film as much as I want (which is a lot).

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
While I appreciate being informative (i.e. being the teacher), I’ve learned so much already from my readers. I definitely prefer an interactive community and teaching and learning is a two-way street.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
TDYLF has been operational for just over a year. I almost always update on weekdays and occasionally on weekends. The average weekly output is probably a little more than five entries a week.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
ONLY THREE?!?! My three all-time favorites are Louis Malle’s “The Fire Within”; Ingmar Bergman’s “Winter Light”; and Billy Wilder’s “Sunset Blvd.”.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
A great deal of sites that I visit are active LAMBs, including (but not limited to) Ruth at Flix Chatter, The Mad Hatter at The Dark of the Matinée, and the fine folks who operate Anomalous Material.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
Interview question: If you could kill and eat one person, and you absorbed that person’s power (wealth, talents, fame, etc.), who would you kill and eat?

What an insightful question! I think I’d have to go with Oprah.
