Categories: Reviews, General, News, Humor, Lists
Rating: PG-13

What is the main focus of your site?
I write reviews of current releases, recommend past/classic films, provide news and trailers for intriguing upcoming projects, and lengthily discuss/predict major film awards, particularly the Oscars.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I started my blog for two reasons: first, to hone my writing abilities as a film critic (which remains my dream job); and second, to stop constantly bothering my friends with bits of film news that I’d read. My success on both counts is debatable.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
At the moment my blog is mostly an educational enterprise for my small band of readers, but I would love to get some more lively, in-depth debates going.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve been writing since May of 2010, and while my updating can be a bit sporadic, I usually average about four posts per week (or one every other day).

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, McCabe & Mrs. Miller, Casablanca

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I stumbled upon LAMB while browsing a prospective member’s blog.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
Q: What’s up with the platypus on your “About Me” page?
A: His name is Putin. Don’t ask.
