What is the main focus of your site?
I primarily post reviews of the movies I see. I also try and sort through the weekly releases and make some recommendations based off of word of mouth and my own “sixth sense” on a movies quality. I also find a new person every week to submit an installment in my “5 Movies to See Before You Die” column.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I really just want a body of writing on film. It helps me get my thoughts down on paper and out of my head. It’s more of a hobby rather than an instrument for career advancement. I have made a couple short films of my own though, so who knows?

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Both I suppose. I welcome comments and discussion (though rarely get anything overly elaborate). I also hope to encourage a wider range of voices through my “5 Movies” column. However, generally speaking my articles tend to be very long and detailed..sometimes I wonder if I leave anything to really talk about. Maybe I should try harder to leave my readers with something to chew on.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Around 6 or 7 months now. I post a few things a week generally..although there may be the odd dry spell from time to time given other responsibilities.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Blade Runner
Spirited Away
The Lord of the Rings
