What is the main focus of your site?
Sharing what Silver Screen goddesses can teach today’s women about elegance, beauty, attitude, and style.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I’m convinced that most women, while they LOVE the idea of glamour, have no belief in their own beauty and no idea how to embrace life with the passion exhibited by Classic Hollywood’s goddesses. I am a costume designer, so I have a rabid interest in movie costuming, but I’m also an image consultant, so I love to share what the movie studios did to make “hicks from the sticks” into movie sirens and sweethearts. My goal is to show women that they can truly feel like the stars of their own lives, rather than living their lives dressed like they’re about to go wash the dog or take out the trash. And the vehicle that inspires me is Old Hollywood. Make sense?

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
Teacher/student, mostly. But I do welcome comments and questions…

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve been blogging since last May, when I returned from the TCM Film Fest with an idea raging in my head. I post at least once every two weeks and usually once a week.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more):
DESK SET, IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE, THE 39 STEPS

How did you hear about the LAMB?
I followed the yellow brick road from The Lady Eve’s wonderful blog.

Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
My father was a night manager at the RKO Keith in Washington DC during the late 1930s-40s and it’s from him I get my passion for what he called “old movies.” As far as I’m concerned, everything I’ve learned about life has been taught by the flickering light of the Silver Screen! Thanks for the looksee.
