What is the main focus of your site?
The tagline (or mission statement if you will) of the site is: Bernardo Villela is like a mallrat except at the movies. He is a writer, director, editor and film enthusiast who seeks to continue to explore and learn about cinema, chronicle the journey and share his findings.
Which is to say that any and all styles, media and genres I encounter are fair game and it’s a personalized approach and not focused on any given milieu of cinema.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I started my own page essentially because I was at a site wherein I was posting very frequently, and under very tight constraints of topic. Therefore, I had to often work quite hard on pieces I wasn’t necessarily passionate about just to meet quotas. I sought with my own page to write in a more liberated way on topics I saw fit that would continue my own cinematic education and journey, and hopefully enlighten, or at least engage, others.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I do prefer intelligent discourse when I can find it and encourage it wherever applicable, however, it seems my readership is not very vocal at current.
How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site?
My site has been active since January of 2011. I have 420 posts to date.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Artificial Intelligence: A.I., Citizen Kane and Satantango (to name a few)
How did hear about the LAMB? If it was a LAMB, do you recall which one?
From Joel Burman (Editor’s note: Who’s that?)
