I always wonder what it is with the Best Picture winners from the nineties always getting so much flack – from Titanic to Shakespeare in Love, The English Patient and the film we’re talking about now Forrest Gump. Granted I wasn’t in the Forrest Gump camp back in ’94 but I’m always amused when it’s hit with the inevitable moniker “Worst Movie Ever” – just check IMDB.

      

Anyhow, we’re re-casting it for this episode. I will say, I wasn’t too big on Hanks performance, though it was good for what it was. Just send me your thoughts on who should play the main characters: Forrest Gump (originally Tom Hanks); Jenny Curan (originally Robin Wright Penn), Lt. Dan Taylor (originally Gary Sinise), Private Benjamin Bufford (originally Mykelti Williamson) and Mrs. Gump (originally Sally Field).
