Lamb Chop-Ups #2

by Bubbawheat · July 9, 2012 · LAMB Chop-Ups · 11 Comments

Welcome back to another movie game brought to you by Bubbawheat. Last week’s Invasion of the Lambs was from Disney’s Oliver and Company, right near the end of the movie. If you want to see it back next week, let me know, otherwise I may just continue with these Lamb Chop-Ups. This week is a little more straighforward than the last game, and there are no duplicates. If this is your first time playing, I have a word spelled out from cut up movie posters. Your job is to guess which movie each letter came from, there’s also a bonus movie that is not pictured, but is hinted at by the word itself and/or the other movies used. Click through to see this week’s puzzle and leave your guesses.

Some notes: While I try to use official movie posters, I don’t always use the most well-known posters and I may unintentionally use fan posters. All posters are taken from the first page of a Google Image search for “(movie title) poster”. Either the first person to get all the answers right, or whoever gets the most right gets 10 points on the leaderboard, the first person to get the bonus movie correct will get 5 points, and everyone else will get 1 point for being the first person to guess each letter correctly, so be sure to toss out your guesses even if you don’t know them all at once.

This week’s answers:

M – Radioland Murders
U – Hot Fuzz – 100 Years of Movies
S – Manhattan Murder Mystery – Will – Silver Emulsion
T – Murder by Death
A – The Man Who Knew to Little
R – The Pink Panther – Will – Silver Emulsion
D – Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid – The Movie Waffler

Bonus Movie: Clue – 100 Years of Movies

This week’s points:

Forgotten Films: 10 points
100 Years of Movies: 6 points
Silver Emulsion: 2 points
The Movie Waffler: 1 point

Overall Leaderboard:

Dust Raven: 33 points
Forgotten Films: 25 points
Life vs. Film: 15 points
100 Years of Movies: 6 points
Silver Emulsion: 2 points
Joel Burman: 1 point
The Movie Waffler: 1 point

  1. Will says:

    M – Meteor Man?
    S – Manhattan Murder Mystery
    R – The Pink Panther

  2. D is Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid?

  3. TheMarknight says:

    U – The Usual Suspects

  4. Bubbawheat says:

There’s a couple right and a couple wrong so far. Keep the guesses coming!

  5. A = Million Dollar Baby
    Mustard = Clue

  6. OK…I think I’ve got it:

    M – Radioland Murders
    U – Hot Fuzz
    S – Manhattan Murder Mystery
    T – Murder by Death
A – The Man who Knew Too Little
    R – The Pink Panther
    D – Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid

They are all Murder Mystery Comedies, so I think “Mustard” must be a reference to Col. Mustard from “Clue.”

  7. Uggh. I knew I’d say “doh!” when the M was revealed…

  8. theMarknight says:

I love this game but it is so stinkin’ difficult… (at least for me)
