When it comes to new releases, here on the Lambcast we only typically cover the major blockbusters and franchise sequels, things like Star Wars, James Bond, Harry Potter and the superhero tentpoles. In an effort to broaden those horizons, Universal’s announcement of their plans for a “Dark Universe” piqued out interests, so we thought we’d get in on the ground floor (not counting Dracula Untold, which Universal don’t seem to count either) and start this series from the beginning with the latest incarnation of The Mummy.
Jay Cluitt was joined by Todd Liebenow, Matthew Stewart, Darren Lucas and Mario Brown to unravel (sorry) this monstrous remake.
Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week, and a game of Last Lamb Standing.
